Teeth Cleaning & General Dental Care

Dogs and cats don’t often get cavities, but they can suffer from other types of dental disease. Gum disease is the number one illness found in both dogs and cats.

Up to 80% of dogs and 70% of cats that don’t receive proper dental care will develop signs of dental disease by the age of three.

We are committed to offering the absolute best and most compassionate pet dental care St. Pete, Pinellas County and all of Tampa Bay.

Wellness Exams & General Care

Wellness exams are the staple of pet care.  They are an overall general health assessment and complete physical examination of your pet, that may include diagnostic testing, blood tests, urinalysis, checking a stool sample, and parasite screening.

Wellness examinations can help detect early stages of disease, before they become a real problem. Wellness exams are recommended for most pets at least annually, but more often  for senior pets and pets with chronic health issues.

A wellness exam can help ensure your pet’s health and detect early stages of disease.

Diagnostic Imaging

Our hospital is a state of the art facility, which offers a number of diagnostic imaging services. Diagnostic imaging refers to the techniques and processes used to create images of your pet’s body or body parts for medical purposes. These images allow your veterinarian to diagnose or re-examine a disease condition or determine if your pet’s systems are normal.

Some form of diagnostic imaging is usually required in a medical work-up or as part of a general wellness examination. Ask our staff or veterinarians if you have other questions about our comprehensive services.
